This is the fourth book in the ‘Bloodlands Collection’ by this author that I have read. The other three are “The Little Slaughterhouse on the Prairie,†“The pirate,†and “The Pied Piper.†This story strikes a chord with me, as I seem to remember bits and pieces of this story when I was a youngster.As far as the quality, and the flow, in the writing, I found this to be a bit aggravating. At just 36 pages, and with a sudden ending lacking necessary details, I was much less satisfied with this volume.BLUSH FACTOR No worries here. This and the other three stories I’ve read are written without the use of any profanities or graphic content.Rather than post an excerpt here, if a sample of this author’s writing is preferred, please click on the links below to two other books in this series. If, though, the ending wasn’t so sudden and included information as to whether or not any murders similar to those for which the alleged perpetrator occurred AFTER the man was executed, that would improve this to a four star.Will you help me? I choose to rate this book as a good book but one that lacks a certain degree of imitation because of the dryest of its subject matter.!!! It is too strict and breeds contempt!!!!! This book is an object of hate.!!!!!
We will call it 3.5It's a lot of information I didn't know yet, was not as well written as the introduction that made me decide to buy them.
I bought this "Bloodlines" series for my daughter who loves all things gorey and she loves it.
