Easy to read with lots of variety for all levels of hikers

Well-written and interesting guide to hikes in all parts of New Jersey. Good descriptions, including length of hike in miles and estimated time, how to find the trailhead, and highlights of the trip. Locator map in the front of the book makes it easy to find hikes in a specific area. Who knew that New Jersey had so many great hike options?!

The book has 50 hike descriptions and additional 70 hikes in appendix. All counties are covered plus interesting things in the area of each hike, to do before or after the hike. A lot of photographs plus an easy to use trip planner

I really like this program and I have tried 2 others. It's easy to use and I really enjoy it. I am certain, this will make my trip to Mexico much more enjoyable and I am even looking forward to speaking Spanish while on vacation. That wasn't true with the other 2 programs I used.

Can you build one from spare parts? Maybe. But A-bombs aren't like bikinis - you can't mix and match the precision parts. What about buying an A-bomb on the black market? Okay. But remember, most countries can't afford nuclear programs. Neither can individuals.Chemical weapons are a little bit cheaper than A-bombs. However, you still need a specialized chemists, a production facility, and a stockpile of exotic chemicals. And even if you do concoct a little poison gas, it's a tricky business deploying the stuff without killing yourself in the process. The problem is that when gas is released into the air, it typically goes where it goes - not where you want it to go. Anybody who has ever sat around a campfire knows that. Wherever you're sitting, that's where the smoke goes,right? And if that smoke is poison gas, Hasta la vista baby!Biological weapons are probably the cheapest of the three. But, again, you 'll need specialized equipment and a suitable laboratory. Additionally, you have to know something about microbiology. Yikes! Then you have to decide what germ you want to weaponize and who'll sell it to you. Plague? Ebola? Anthrax? Smallpox? They're all horrific killers, but they're hard to acquire. Even if you could get your grimy mitts on one of them, keeping the little bugger alive is easier said than done. Too hot - they die. Too cold - they die. Make the slightest mistake - you die. And like gas, germs don't behave they way you want them to. Most likely they'll blow right back into your face. Oops!The bottom line is that WMD's are too expensive to buy, too difficult to make and too dangerous to handle. So don't worry about your neighbor. He's probably just reading this book to mess with your head. Speaking of weird neighbors, check out my comments on The Radioactive Boy Scout: The Frightening True Story of a Whiz Kid and His Homemade Nuclear Reactor. Now there's a neighbor you have to worry about.This book is an excellent primer on WMD's and I highly recommend it.

I thought at only 256 pages this book would be a quick read. Instead, it has about 40-50 pages of interesting information followed by either total repetition of previous information or extremely simplistic musings. (I hate not finishing a book, but this one was like reading a incoherant text book,

A reference book which does not delve into the exhausting details of the WMD technology but presents in a clear and easy to read text all the essential information. Of course the title is somehow misleading, as the book is not a manual for nuclear bomb producers. The strong point of the book is that it is not necessary for someone to have a PhD in Physics, Bilogy or Chemistry in order to understand the working principles of WMD.

A good place to start, and a nice complement to Denton Moody et al's more detailed information in Nuclear Forensic Analysis (2015).

An Early Childhood educator at the university where I work recommended this book for my three-year-old grandson, and it was a big hit! He loves it! The bright illustrations and the simple phrasing are perfect for his age, and making noises to correspond to the machines is pretty fun too. He also refers to parts of the book and has made the connections between the book and his toys -- recognizing things like bulldozers and trucks and cranes. It has already become one of his favorites, and I highly recommend it.

This is my son's favorite book. We got the hardcover from the library and I knew he wanted to have his own copy. I like that features both men and women and different folks with a variety of skin colors. He love the excavator. I get a little sad on the page where they bulldoze the tree but that's just me. He loves it and the board book is rugged enough to toss around.

Great easy book for my 18 month old. Had to buy it because you can only check it out from the library so many times before the librarian starts to look at you funny.Unfortunately we have unleashed his inner “Trucks!” phase. Also if you add construction noises when reading the book apparently he will “read” the book by making the noises on random pages. Wouldn’t trade that for anything.

As in all Byron Barton books, the illustrations are beautiful, but clear, and the text is simple.This is a good book to have to supplement a preschool community helpers, transportation,or construction unit.

My grand-daughter LOVES this book!! We now have to stop and watch some of these machines working when we are driving. She says "Sheems at work". So cute!

My husband and I still quote our favorite line in this classic: "more work tomorrow." The illustrations are very appealing to toddler boys, as is the plot, which follows a group of construction workers through various typical activities. Each of our boys loved this as a bedtime book from the age of about 1 to 2 years old. They kept asking us to read it even after a large chunk of it was lost after being left outside in the rain. This is a great gift for new parents of little boys.

My son had this same book when he was little and loved it so much so bought for my 2 yr old grandson. The pages are colorful and simple words.

My kids have always loved this book... would definitely recommend. The first copy I ordered was worn even though it was listed as new... which is the only reason for the 4-star rating.

Sitting at night in my room for hours on end, sorting through cards, and trying to think of different card combos. Finally, after a couple of hours, I would get a nice deck that I liked. I would use it, and sure enough, I would lose. That WAS me until I bought the deck builders book. If your a serious magic gamer, this is the book for you. In only a short amount of time, DeckBuilders shows you valuable combos, and various others in deck building. It gives you ideas, and goes really "in depth" into what you put into your deck. In 10 minutes, I had an awesome deck, and have not lost yet. I recommend this book to anyone, beginner or expert. You won't be sorry, but your dualing partners will be.

The book was written in 1997 and well its a total waste of money im sad to say. Its just out of date...it could maybe give someone some ideas of how to build a deck but again its old.
