This is the second book I have read by Rose Cuzzion. It is great to see how quickly she is growing as a writer. The first book was more erotic, but not really my cup of tea. This book gives us a better understanding of what it is like to be a woman in the Phillipines. Some of it can be pretty heart wrenching, but I think it is very good reading for anyone that might be considering a philipina wife. It is a quick read and well worth the time.
Darker and sadder than her 1st book, it is also better written. Again a little short (and there is a part 2) but at the price one cannot really complain.
Well written and a good read for any one interested in this type of story.

Confusing stories that have no ending. Very disconnected
This is not really what I would call a book. It's a short story. It turns out that this is only part one of a two part story, so it leaves us to have to buy part two to find the conclusion to the story. It's too expensive for what you get. It would be a better deal if part two was offered free; to those purchasing part one; but thats not offered. The writing was amaturish. I don't plan to buy part two. It's not worth paying extra for. It's such a short story it should have been sold complete.
At 50 I have been to ph meany times. I am engaged to a Filipina age 40. I knew a lot of this stuff I read in this book. I have always treated Filipinas with respect.
